Christmas season has officially opened at Villa Monastero

Christmas season has started in Villa Monastero. On Saturday December 7th visitors of all ages were welcomed for a day full of special events.
In the afternoon Villa Monastero hosted a Christmas decorations workshop for parents and children aged from 6 to 11.
In the evening Sala Fermi hosted the exhibition of the female choir CorolLario, directed by Lina Morstabilini, singing Italian traditional Christmas songs with the special participation of soprano Daniela De Francesco.
Our events for Christmas don't stop here: until January 6th 2020 visitors with tickets to the House Museum can admire a traditional Neapolitan XVI century crib on show in Sala Fermi.
After the sunset, the entrance, facade and central driveway will light up every evening in an explosion of lights and colours.
Until February 2nd, during opening days and included in the ticket to the House Museum, you can visit the exhibition Carte in…cantate - Antonio Ghislanzoni attraverso le lettere dell’Archivio di Villa Monastero e altri inediti documenti e immagini.
Villa Monastero will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on December 15th and 22nd and every day from December 26th to January 6th. From January 12th usual winter Sunday openings will resume.
